Feb 28, 2013 · The Arctis 7 isn't very good. I have tried the virtuoso but I've not been getting told the most positive things. Wireless is a bit of a bummer. The flight is normaly what I reccomend sub 200. I'm getting the new gsp370 soon I think.

It’s very simple with aluminum joints, sturdy size extensions that are numbered, and there isn’t even Corsair text on the headband like we usually see. The only branded thing is the Corsair logo cutout on the sides. On the SE they have machined these micro-perforations into the aluminium ear cups to allow the RGB lighting to shine through. They look like pixels and it’s very unique. The non-SE has more traditional illumination, but it is much brighter. Both headsets offer the usual full colour palette to choose from. The problem with these micro-perforations is the potentially for dirt clog up, because the holes are so tiny. The dirt ends up finding its way into the center and clogs up those tiny holes and there is no way to really clean them. The arctis 7 sound wise just barely fails my audio standards. There not bad, but nothing special. The Virtuoso has a great mic for being wireless (se I've seen some test show it's not better) but sound wise, it fails by a wide margin. I'd even say it sounds kinda bad.

The Arctis 7 audio is excellent during web conferences as is the mic. When hearing recordings of trainings I've produced, my voice is full and clear with no fuzz or background noise. Arctis 7 works great for Nintendo Switch. I've used the headset wired with switch on airplane, and all good. I; The build quality of the Arctis 7 is AMAZING.
