If this is the case, you need to disconnect that fan from the Smart Device. To do so, first power down your system fully and turn off your power supply. Wait 10 seconds and disconnect the fan. Next, turn your system on and the remaining fans should start spinning.
If it’s just the H700 then your motherboard is probably controlling the fans, so you’ll control them with BIOS or a program from your mobo’s manufacturer. You’d get that program from the support/downloads page of your motherboard. H700i would probably be being controlled through the smart device. In that case you’ll need to use CAM.
Apr 20, 2019 · NZXT H700i with 3 front 120 mm fans (The rear 140mm fan was removed). My CPU fan reading (on HWMonitor, NZXT CAM, and ASUS BIOS) reads around 4000-6000 RPM. However, in reality, I do not have a single fan (of any kind) connected to my mother board. I have the two 120 mm LL fans from corsair for my H100i for my cpu.

The Smart Device found in the i-version of the H-series cases will not be able to support the second generation of the NZXT HUE lighting devices (including the Aer RGB 2 fans). H700i Case Fans not working I can’t seem to figure out why my fans aren’t working. They we’re already all plugged into the smart device when I bought it new but they aren’t being detected on the CAM software and I can’t figure out why they aren’t spinning.
Aug 30, 2011 · Recently build my new PC in the H700i, with the kraken x62. I connected all my (non rgb) fans (3 aer in front, 1 in the back and 2 on top on the radiator) to the smart device and then used CAM to set the adaptive fan curve.
