Should have read the product details! I had no idea that Corsair's RGB fans were 25% slower than non-RGB fans (1,200 vs 1,600 for ML140; 1,600 vs 2,000 for ML120). Even the other ML LED lighted fans operate at full speed, with only the RGB models affected.

Jun 09, 2009 · LL is fine for regular airflow, but I would take ML over LL in any case. The performance difference is huge. I recommend you look at thermalbench's LL review and compare the Ml regular fans (ML RGB are the same but lower rpm). On a slim radiator (30-35mm) either should be fine.

Mar 16, 2012 · I had ML fans on my radiators and switched to the LL yesterday. Oh boy was I in for a surprise. The performance on radiators is horrible at least in my case. And I use a 40mm and a 60mm radiator. Maybe you can get away with them on a slim rad. But for the thicker ones I highly recommend the ml over the LL if performance is the goal here.

The magnetic levitation seems to be a better way to go vs the usual hydraulic spinners out there and a quick read of the stats put the ML in between the LL/QL at the low end and the HD at the high end of the CFM range so good compromise with the benefit of the mag-lev longevity / durability (supposedly).

Oct 12, 2017 · Avoid the NB eLoops here, as you would want to go with dual fans if you want to be quiet and cool with this single 140 mm radiator, and the eLoops don’t play well when you have the rotor close to a radiator core.
