Connect one of the HUE+ generation products (with appropriate cable from HUE+) to the Lighting channel of the Smart Device. If the lighting product works, the H-series case LED Strips are the problem. If not, then the Smart Device may be the problem instead. If you have an H200i, your case only includes the single embedded LED strip.

Maybe NZXT will see the growing list of complaints and put some funds into hiring a better software development team / or allocating said team more time to focus on improving the functionality. The reason I am unhappy with the software is that it often does not work. Most of the time I can't even get the software to load.

Bought this to control two AER RGB fans and didn’t work replaced all the cables checked the connections to the fans and power still did not work. Contacted NZXT support waited about an hour then a very helpful operator guided me through various remedies. The conclusion ?
