The AIO did a fine job cooling the 5820K for a few years, until it developed two pinhole leaks. No fluid dripped out or anything like that, but it was enough to allow the fluid to gradually evaporate until cooling performance was compromised.

If we rewind just 10 months ago, CORSAIR unveiled the iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT and today we’ll be seeing the successor to this unit in the form of yet another 240mm model. This month, CORSAIR brought to market the new iCUE ELITE CAPELLIX – a liquid CPU cooling range available in 240, 280 and 360mm versions.

I was looking around in all the different settings available, and found some settings for cpu fan control and water pump control. These settings are being controlled by my Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2. So noticed that the cpu fan was turned on, in the bios, pump was turned off. Should these be turned on or off, if you are using the Corsair link

the fans can connect either way depending on how you want to control them . connected to the pump youll need to use corsair link. on the mobo you can use speedfan or whatever. temp does seem high though, should be just above ambient at idle. make sure its tight and maybe give it a bit of a wiggle. my h110 dropped a few degrees this way. if you have to you can reseat it but youll need new paste.

So, Corsair worked with Asetek to redesign the pump for longer term durability. They also redesigned the RGB LED lighting and added their new "magnetic levitation" fans. And they upgraded the interface so the H100i requires no special BIOS setup (as the H100i V2 did for the CPU_FAN header) and is fully integrated into their new software iCUE.

Oct 18, 2019 · I got a new H100i Pro RGB installed on this whole new PC build with an i7 9700K (still running at stock). I was searching what are the best settings for the fan and pump on ICUE. I think I got everything installed correct as I have read. Pump is connected on the CPU fan header with it set at full speed.

To update firmware: Open iCUE. Click SETTINGS.; Click the device you want to update. Click Update.; Choose how you want to update the firmware: Select Force update to force an update to the latest firmware version.

My corsair hydro H100i rgb platinum aio has the pump stuck at max rpm and i cannot seem to drop it down to “the quiet” setting in ICUE. My corsair LL120mm fans seems to work just fine. It is connected to a Asus z390 rog maximum xi hero (wifi) mobo.
