Corsair Spec-06 Front Panel Issue Having some problems with my new case. Everything else works properly, but after installing a Commander Pro into the system, the front panel RGB stopped working.

If you remove the side panels, look on the inside of the frame rails. You should see 3 tabs per side that you can lightly press on to release the front panel. Easiest way would be to start with the bottom pair and work your way up, slowly pulling the front fascia away from the case. Let us know if you run into any issues.

I have my pc in the corsair carbide spec-01 case, but am unable to remove the front panel. According to the manual it is supposed to come off simply by pulling it, but I simply can't get it off with reasonable force.

The front panel is two halves divided into a 70/30 split. Look at the edges of the flat right side part of the front panel and gently pop it away from the front, it's tool less. Once removed now you have access to the left side of the front panel.

Dec 29, 2015 · Need to know ASAP. They aren't removable they are molded into the front panel itself, they work like two tabs that grab onto the metal portion of the case, you can try to lightly compress or push the two tabs together when pulling to ease the out easier

Update: heard back from Corsair tech service, they were useless as it took 3 attempts before they understood the problem. The final solution: in order to remove the front panel you must remove the side panel, disconnect the ODD from the power supply and the SATA connection then remove the ODD and finally you can remove the front panel.

Sep 13, 2016 · I was wondering if this has been done. I dont like the red LEDs my SPEC-01 came with and I want to change them to white LEDs. Has anyone swapped the LEDs in their SPEC-01 or any case for that matter and how easy was it? I took apart the front panel and the little box where all the wires are and it seems easy to unsolder and resolder new LEDs.
